Each day, upon awaking
I embark on a journey
Each day blessed with beauty and wonderment
Some days
I fail
to see
to believe
to be
Some days
I am consumed with emotions
The journey deep into my soul
the dark
the black
fear and insecurity ravish me
Sorrow and depression swallow me
Deep in the dark womb
Until I emerge again
Some days
Laughter fills me
nourishes me
Love emits everywhere
Some days
I struggle
I hate
I consume
other days
I am content
I am at peace
life is perfectly imperfect
and I am okay
Each day a journey outward and inward
moving closer and closer
to the end

to be
to feel
to experience
to live

Everyday is a journey! I love how you were able to make a poem that sums up pretty much how I feel about everyday being a new experience and being a good one, despite the ups and downs.
